TabTrade Review - The Good and the Catch

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
